BIC product review and give away

********** free product review alert***********

so I got this box in the mail....
I knew it was coming because
BIC contacted me and asked if I would review their new stationary line
OF COURSE I said YES
and so when the box arrived I was so so so excited

first layer was all the info...
details about each product included in the box :)
then after the bubble wrap....

holy moly gaucamole.... I was in LOVE!!!
I knew I would love these before I even opened the packages...
here is everything that was in the box

I LOVE PENS  & PENCILS
I mean {PuFFy} heart LOVE pens and pencils sooooooooo.....
I didn't think I would give a fair review so what was a girl to do...
SO I...
took it to school for our first week of back to school PD
and spread out all the goodness at my table
my besties at school got to try out all of these great freebies from BIC and let me tell you they loved them...

do you see the pic above?  well do you notice there aren't that many pens left on the table.... that is because
all my buds were taking off with them...
by the end of our week long PD this is all that was left....

so here is what they had to say...

Heather...
my bestie across the hall
who teaches 3rd grade and who should have a BLOG of her own :)
AND
who told me I have to tell you she is preggers and not chunky :)
I LOVE THAT GIRL...
anywho here she is with her FAVE...
Heather LOVED the BIC Velocity Bold Fashion Ball Pen....
and that says a lot...
Heather (like me) LOVES pens and pencils BUT is also a PEN SNOB (ME TOO!!!)
we only like certain pens... it has to write JUST WRITE...ha ha get it....
anyways the Velocity Bold Fashion Ball Point Pen is AH-Mazing...
it is possibly the smoothest writing pen and it creates bold vivid lines...
it also comes in lots of colors... purple, light green, pink, turquoise, dark green, red, blue, and black...
HEATHER REALLY LOVES THESE!!!!

next up is Melissa
she is one of my FAB teaching partners in 4th
you can find her blog Covington's Corner HERE
well Melissa's FAVE was the BU3 Grip Fashion Ball Pen and the BIC Atlantis Fashion Mechanical Pencil
Melissa used the pencil for all 5 days and said the lead hardly ever broke... I told her it had a cushioned tip that helps with the lead breakage.... AH-SOME
she also loved the BU3 Pens because the grip was comfy even for a leftie...
these pens come in a variety of colors too.... 7 to be exact...
aqua, purple, pink, green, blue, red, and black

Daliene...  is our fantabulous TAG teacher...
she also has a blog... Happydally... HERE
she is representing Brinna (my teacher friend next door)
who left early and therefore missed the photo shoot for this review...
HELLO Brinna... didn't you know I was shooting pics today ... I mean come on ...
didn't you want to get your face on here... I mean look at this PIC quality... I could be a professional....
anywho... Daliene (standing in for Brinna)
loves the BIC Clic Matic Mechanical Pencil
ME TOO!!!
It has a textured rubber grip and the eraser is absolutely FAB....
this pencil is PERFECT for tests that require a particular lead... AND this pencil is so clever you can load the new lead from the side... COOOL

 MY TURN....
I honestly LOVED all of them...
my fave is the BIC Cristal Bold Fashion Ball Pen
I used them to fill out my new calendar... LOVE
and like I mentioned above I am a pen and pencil SNOB....
these totally pass my test... the color goes on BOLD and smooth
these pens have the iconic hexagonal barrel that lets you see when ink is low
and they come in great colors... purple, light green, pink, aqua, dark green, red, blue, and black

BIC sent me these goodies for free in return I had to do an HONEST review... I can pinky promise you that I LOVED all the products  and my besties took off with a lot of them!!!! thanks BIC for asking me to review these products... I really appreciate it... AND
BIC is so AWESOME
they are going to give away a box full of goodies to one of my readers

Genes, Calendar, & Muncher

you know it is back to school time when......

Grandma takes all the girls to the annual BACK TO SCHOOL lunch!!!
YEP... 4 out of 7 of her girls are teachers....
even Grandma was a teacher...
in order....
first is ME 4th grade, my Aunt Tena middle school math, my sis in law Lyssa 4th grade, Grandma retired high school math, and my mama retired 1st, 4th, spec ed,  & reading specialist...
WOWZERS...teaching must be in my genes right?

back to school also means LOTS of hours up at school
doing redecorating and creating...
this is the calendar that hubs and I made to go with my new calendar kit by Little Lovely Leaders...
more on that in a few...

sorry it is blurry BUT can't be a post without bub!!!
he liked sitting in my lunchbox bucket :)
we had supply drop off and all of my kids that POPPED by got one of these...
no it is not all that cute BUT I ran out of time... we didn't have too much time to get our room done before the kiddos showed up!!!
pink elephant is in place and FILLED with BIC...
more on that in a few days
if you don't remember PINK ELEPHANT... head HERE to get a refresher...
purple duck will join him soon :)
alrighty here is my new calendar in place...
the board with the squiggles is my LET IT SHINE board where we brag about good work and what ever else makes us shine :)
then the owl board is the WHO board... for no name papers :)
and then the CALENDAR
the pledge poster is FREE in my TpT store :)
I had it printed on a poster at vistaprint
 I love it :)

this calendar took a little while to create BUT
I LOVE IT!!!!
my ugly old one had to go... and this was exactly what I was looking for...
SERIOUSLY it is ah-mazingly cute!!!
thanks to my hubs for the extra effort to get it complete...
we bought shower board at Home Depot and had it cut to size and the pic that you saw earlier was hubs cutting it more to size... it was too tall.... but now it works :)
we used black electrical tape and lots of yard sticks to make sure our lines lined up :)
my squares are not quite squares...more like rectangles...slightly.... I think we did 6 1/2 by 7
anyways... even though this did take some time and almost a divorce... just kidding.... I ADORE IT!!!
and because it is on shower board I can move it around the room if I need to... BUT I am pretty sure this is the perfect spot for it :)
when I look at it I get all happy inside :)
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED....
you can find the complete kit by Bridget at Little Lovely Leaders on TpT
here is the link(click on the pic)
and NO Bridget did not pay me or ask me or give me anything FREE...
this is from the heart a SHOUT OUT to this FAB PRODUCT!!!

INTRODUCING... my previously made over chair....
here is the story ...
a few years ago I recovered this chair...
I felt guilty that my whole room was girly and so I decided to cover it in this...

yep racecars... nice right????
and here is the back!!!

so anyways... I am over it and ready to girly it up so
first things first
I removed the back!!!

and observed how many staples I used before...
HOLY COW... staples must have been on sale or something...
WOWZERS
alrighty so apparently I skipped a few steps in the pics...
I know I got all of the 5,003 staples out and then recovered the back in pretty fabric
and way less staples
and then I worked on the front...
front is done...  what do ya think...

and once again I skipped a ton of steps ....
hubs helped me attach the front to the base and the back to the front and
WHA LAAAAA
it is done...

I left the seat bottom the same...
it is grey black denim and is very durable and has about 7,003 staples in it so it stayed!!!

well I am probably the last person to link up but I GOTS TO... Tara has been my bloggy buddy for a long time :)

head on over there and see all the great stuff people are craft-n
